After months of closure and many more months of uncertainty, we are absolutely delighted to announce our reopening - commencing May 26th.
This is a little later than planned; however, our maintenance works are running a little behind schedule
Hopefully, the upside is that inside hospitality will have resumed allowing for dining or drinking in all public areas
We are on the home straight but not quite at the finish line. There are, as we have become accustomed to some restrictions – However, we feel able to keep you and ourselves safe and secure. We have plenty of outdoor space, bar and lounge areas, a stunning location, tasty food, and of course, the beautiful Beacons just on our doorstep
The Manor is now closed as of 20th December until further notice - We are so sorry to once again announce this news.
Due to the First Ministers announcement of new restrictions and lockdown measures we will be temporarily closing the Manor (again) from 23rd December 2020 until restrictions are eased. We understand it is unlikely that our trading will resume before late January.
Hello everyone, a lot has happened recently so we feel a little update is in order. Following the announcement of the Welsh Assembly about the "Fire Break" for Wales, we will be closed until 9th November to the general public.
Hello everyone, a lot has happened recently so we feel a little update is in order.
Firstly. Yes we are open, the Brecon Beacons is open, the roads are open, however in the short term we will not be able to offer a completely unrestricted stay, but I’m sure you, like many, will be just welcoming a change of scenery, having some lovely food and wine, or just letting yourself go for a few days.
NHS TEST AND TRACE
The NHS Test and Trace poster will be displayed at reception and other public areas. If you have the NHS COVID-19 app you can quickly and easily ‘check in’ to MANORHOTEL by scanning the QR code. If you do not have the App, we will be asking every guest (not just the lead guest) to leave their details so that we can submit these to NHS Test and Trace. If you plan on downloading the app whilst here please could you make sure this is done before retiring for the evening or before any food and drink orders are taken. The guidance is if there is more than one person in a booking, then you can record the name of the ‘lead member’ of the group (of up to 6 people) and the number of people in that group.
Our on-line booking system is operational should you wish to make a reservation. We will be posting some great incentives to come and visit our hotels over the Autumn months.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I NEED TO CANCEL?
Hotel bookings can be cancelled or transferred up to 48hrs prior to arrival with no charge. If you need to cancel or amend your booking within 48hrs of arrival due to COVID-19, we can transfer your booking to another suitable date, however rates may differ between dates. Any cancellations or amendments within 48hrs, that are not as a direct result of COVID-19, will result in our retaining the charge for the first night of your stay. If we are forced to close a hotel/hotels due to COVID-19 bookings can be transferred or cancelled at no charge
We have been operating a pre-order system for breakfast along with allotted times. The dining room is now open subject to social distancing and again we are trying to spread the bookings as best we can. The terraces are also available for al fresco dining with probably the best views in the area. In line with Government guidance we will only be offering table service for both the dining rooms . This also applies across our other communal areas, including the bar and terraces
We will ask all guests to complete an online check in system and require all guests to be in good health and absent of any Coronavirus symptoms.
All guests we will need to practice social distancing, with other guests and our team members. Face coverings have now become mandatory whilst indoors (except whilst eating of course) and we are following Government guidelines for gatherings of a maximum of 6, and we ask and trust that our guests will also adhere to these guidelines. Please bring your own face covering with you before for your booking, but we will have some disposable masks available at reception if you forget. Our teams will also be wearing face coverings in all public areas.
CLEANING & HYGIENE
Cleanliness and hygiene is always a priority for us. We have fitted sanitation stations throughout the hotel and encourage guests to use them throughout their stay. Touch points in communal areas will be cleaned regularly by team members. To reduce contact, we have also reduced room housekeeping. We will only service rooms for guests staying multiple nights on request - Please be aware the room must be vacated and windows open for at least 1hr.
WEDDINGS AND EVENTS.
Our events team are actively taking enquiries and wedding show rounds are now in full swing. In these uncertain times one thing is certain. The Manor, due to its size and location is perfect for an intimate, socially distanced wedding that still feels incredibly romantic and special The stunning location, grounds, facilities, fresh food and our 'can do' attitude provide all the ingredients for an intimate and romantic wedding. Please contact the team on email@example.com to arrange an exclusive show round.
